Why driving instructors still need to advertise

Word of mouth keeps a lot of instructors going, until a batch of pupils pass at once and the diary suddenly has gaps. Those gaps are expensive, and filling them usually means posting in local groups at short notice.

Learners, and very often their parents, choose someone who covers their area, has a slot that fits around school or work, and teaches in the gearbox they want. If your posts do not say those things clearly, people scroll on to the next name.

Kabooly Marketing already has your area, your lesson types and the way you talk to pupils. It suggests a topic, writes the advert and designs the images, so you can sort it in the car park before your next lesson.

Things to get right in driving lesson adverts

  • Be careful with pass claims

Guaranteed passes or first time pass promises are not something any instructor can stand behind. Read each advert through before posting and remove anything that suggests a result rather than good teaching.

  • Say where you cover

Your local area is part of your profile, so adverts are written for the places you teach. Nextdoor in particular works well for reaching households a few streets from your usual pick up points.

  • Speak to parents as well as learners

Parents often pay for the lessons and make the first contact. Adjust the tone and edit the text in place when an advert is aimed at them rather than the pupil.

  • Show your car and branding

Your logo and brand colours come from your website or an upload, so the images look like your roof sign and car livery rather than a stock template.

Questions from driving instructors

Can I advertise manual and automatic lessons separately?

Yes. List both as services in your profile and suggested topics will cover each, or type your own topic for the one you want to push this week.

Will it post in local Facebook groups for me?

No. It does not post anything. You copy the text and download the images, then post them wherever you like. Every advert is saved in your library for next time.

What sizes are the images?

1080 by 1080 for Instagram, 1200 by 630 for Facebook and 1200 by 1200 for Nextdoor, one for each platform you tick.

Where do I log in?

Kabooly Marketing lives at marketing.kabooly.com with its own login, and you can sign in with email or Google. The text has a copy button and each image has a download button.

How many adverts can I make?

Up to 20 images in any rolling 24 hours, which is plenty for regular posting across all three platforms.
