Marketing for fitness instructors

Fill the spaces in your classes without spending evenings on Canva

Set up your profile once with your classes, venues and style. Kabooly Marketing suggests an advert, writes it in your voice and designs the images, so posting about a new timetable takes minutes, not an evening.

Why class numbers depend on what you post

Most people find a local class through someone they know or a post they scroll past. If your circuits session in the church hall or your Saturday bootcamp in the park only gets mentioned when you remember, the room stays half empty and the regulars carry it.

The trouble is that you are already teaching, planning sessions, sorting music and chasing payments. Writing a fresh caption and making a graphic for every new term or change of venue is the job that slips.

Kabooly Marketing already knows your classes, where you teach, who comes and how you talk to them. It suggests what to post next, writes the words and makes a branded image for each platform you tick, so you only have to read it, tweak it and put it out.

Advert ideas

Adverts fitness instructors create with it

Pick a suggested topic, type your own, or ask for another idea.

  • New timetable for the term

Days, times and venues for each class in one clear advert, for the start of September or January when people are looking for a routine.

    Suits: FacebookNextdoor

  • Beginners welcome at Tuesday circuits

Speaks to the person who has been meaning to start but worries they will be the least fit in the room.

    Suits: InstagramFacebook

  • Outdoor bootcamp in the park

A local advert naming the park and meeting point, which is exactly what people nearby need to picture turning up.

    Suits: NextdoorInstagram

  • Low impact class for older adults

A calmer, reassuring advert for chair based or gentle sessions, aimed at the people who would never click on a sweaty workout photo.

    Suits: FacebookNextdoor

  • A few spaces left in the evening class

A short nudge when a session is not quite full, so you are not teaching to the same six faces all term.

    Suits: Instagram

Things to get right in fitness class adverts

  • Talk about the session, not body change

Promises of weight loss or dramatic results put people off and can land you in trouble. Adverts about what the class feels like, who it suits and where it runs do more for bookings. Read every advert before posting and cut anything that overpromises.

  • Match the energy to the class

Tone of voice sits on a scale from formal to casual in your profile. A HIIT instructor might set it loud and chatty, a Pilates or postnatal teacher calmer. If you run both, adjust the text in place for each advert.

  • List each class as a service

Add every class type to your services list. Suggested topics are drawn from that list, so you get ideas for your quieter sessions as well as the popular ones.

  • Use your own photos where you can

Images are generated with your logo and colours. For posts where people want to see you and the group, you can still post your own photos alongside the advert text.

Questions from fitness instructors

Can I make separate adverts for different venues?

Yes. Type your own topic, for example the Thursday class at the leisure centre, and the text and images are written for that. Your target area in the profile covers where you usually teach.

Does it post my timetable to Instagram for me?

No. It does not post or schedule anything. You copy the text, download the images and post them yourself, and every advert stays in your library so you can reuse it next term.

Which sizes do the images come in?

1080 by 1080 for Instagram, 1200 by 630 for Facebook and 1200 by 1200 for Nextdoor. You tick the platforms you want and get one image for each.

Can I redo one image without losing the text?

Yes. Each image can be regenerated on its own, and the text can be edited in place or regenerated separately.

Can I take class bookings through Kabooly?

Online booking with confirmation emails is part of the Kabooly CRM, which is a separate product from £100 a month. Kabooly Marketing on its own makes the adverts.
